Hey Team!
Can I just tell you all how excited I am to meet you? I'm absolutely thrilled to be apart of this mission trip! I'm Natalie, from South Carolina, and I'm a senior in high school (yay graduation). I hope to attend the University of South Carolina next fall and major in Psychology. I would love to be able to work with people the rest of my life and maybe even go into Christian counseling, but we'll see what God leads me to. I've run Cross Country for the past 3 years and I've come to appreciate running, runners, and all of its metaphors for life, haha. So funny story, I've taken French all 4 years of high school and I only know basic greetings in Spanish, but I'm trying my best to pick up some Spanish phrases before June 3rd. But honestly, I know that God is strong in our weakness and there is a reason He has led me to Guatemala =) I'm praying that God would have His way with me and take me out of my comfort zone.

I'm so looking forward to meeting you all! I'm praying for the locals' hearts to be softened in Guatemala. Here is a verse that I find encouraging:
"so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find Him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and exist..."
-Romans 17:27-28
I'm also praying that God would open our eyes to what He wants us to see, and that we would be challenged and our faith and relationship with Christ would grow stronger =)
