Hello,

I'm really not sure what all to write here but I'm just going to say I'm really excited for Guatemala!

My name is Walter Portillo, but for the most part everyone just calls me Walt(doesn't sound so much like an old man). I'm from a small town, Lumberton, Texas. I'm 20 years old and I'm a junior at Lamar University. I'm majoring in Spanish and minoring in Business, then plan on going to Law School at Kansas. God has really done a lot in my life since the past summer and I know it's his will for me to go to Guatemala because of things that are falling through here. I was actually supposed to go to Spain this summer to study abroad but God changed my plans. I'm ready to see what God has in store for all us this summer and seriously can't wait although I sometimes get nervous when I think about it. But I know it's God's will and I'm following His call on my life.

1 cup of coffee makes me jump off the walls

Kid movies are the best

I still buy interesting looking hot wheels (have a collection)

I play a lot of pranks at work

Around 18 hours of no sleep I get very delirious

Anyways, thats about all I know right now, actually I know more but I'm supposed to be getting ready for church right now. Excited for Guatemala wooot wooot!
