Ok, my name is Laura Bane, and a lot of my friends call me by my whole name, kind of slurred together, but I'll answer to anything! (Someone even called me Tiffany once and I responded... haha) I'm from all over Iowa, but I graduated high school in Rock Rapids, Iowa. I go to Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and am a freshman. As you might have noticed from the title of this post, I LOVE languages!! I've been studying Spanish for about 5 years now, and I just started taking French this year. I'm hoping to be a Spanish and International Studies Major, but I might also throw a French major in there too... But I also love music and art so I don't know how that will all fit in with everything else... I play about 8 intstruments, but my main ones are cello and bass guitar, and I love to worship with them whether just by myself or on a praise team!

I am super pumped for this trip because recently God has really burdened my heart for missions, especially in Spanish speaking countries. I also realized recently that God has given me a heart for people. I really love to serve people and to listen to them. So, I feel like this trip will be an amazing opportunity to answer His call and serve! I've gone on mission trips before (one to Ukraine, and the others to Chicago and Arkansas), but always with people from the town I live in so I am very excited to meet everyone and see what God will do this summer!

My favorite color is YGB, otherwise known as yellow, green, and blue (which isn't really a color, but oh well!). They're just so beautiful together!

Ok, that's all I can think of for now! So, once again, I am sooo excited for this summer!! I pray that God would continue to prepare us for our journey :)
